Pre-race packet pickup will take place at The Ocean Center on the first floor on Saturday, December 8 from 10AM – 7PM. Parking will be available in the Ocean Center lots for a small parking fee. Signs will be directing you to packet pickup within The Ocean Center.

Race Day Packet Pick-Up will NOT be available. If you have any conflicts and will not be able to pick up your packet on the suggested days, please contact us at info@santahustle.com.

All Participants will receive a FREE Santa Hat, Santa Beard, customized Long Sleeve Dri Fit Shirt, and Goody Bag.

New for 2012! The Santa Hustle 5k and Half Marathon is an officially timed event using the disposable B-Tag timing system. Timing chips are attached directly to the back of your bib number and are to remain adhered for the duration of the event.

In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is:

• Clearly visible on the front of the torso
• Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
• Pinned in all four corners
• Not covered (jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc.)

There will be timing clocks at each mile marker along the course and the start and finish lines.

Results will be posted on-site, as soon as possible following the event and official results will be posted on our website within 24 hours.

All participants are specators are strongly encouraged to use public transportation to the start and finish areas around the Ocean Center, as well as to locations along the course. If you drive, allow sufficient time for heavy traffic congestion and street closures due to the race.

The top 3 Male & Female Finishers in each age group for the 5K will receive a customized Santa Hustle medal. The top three overall Male and Female Finishers will receive a Santa Hustle Mug and Medal.

Age groups are as follows:
10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.

All Half Marathon Finishers will receive a Finisher’s Medal!

Awards will be handed out for the following categories:

• Best Group Santa Costumes
• Best Individual Santa Costume

Gear Check will be available for all participants at the race starting at 7:00 AM. Please use the provided tear off on your race bib to use when you check your personal items. Any gear not picked up by 1:00 PM on race day will be transported to our main office at 770 Industrial Dr, Cary, IL. Items not claimed within 30 days will be donated to a local charity.

Strollers and walkers are allowed. Dogs are NOT allowed. Walkers and strollers will need to start behind all the runners.

The Santa Hustle post race party will take place at The Ocean Center immediately following the race, beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 1 p.m. All participants (21+ WITH ID) will receive a complementary beer, and there will be breakfast and concession food available as well.
